About us

In the mid 90's, Herman Meyer realized his
grocery store and deer processor customers had
nowhere to go for good BBQ in Katy.

For this reason, he opened a shack in front of Midway Grocery Store and
called it, Midway BBQ. Midway BBQ is a full-service restaurant and offers
in-house banquets and offsite catering tailored to meet our customers' needs. The banquet room can accommodate rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, holiday parties, graduations, awards ceremony, employee training, and baby or wedding showers. Midway BBQ also offers offsite catering for events such as luncheons, wedding receptions, school functions and emergency assistance.

The chicken was so tender & the brisket so tasty. I can't wait to try the sausage. The fried okra was to die for! If you have been to Midway you don't know what you're missing

Blake and I cannot thank you enough for catering our wedding this past weekend at Beckendorff Farms. The food was AMAZING and we received so many compliments on it. I've also had people text me after the fact asking where it was from! I especially like the appetizers - the crab cakes were amazing! The staff was also wonderful and made our special day run smoothly. They were incredibly attentive and served our guests so well!
